This small, deciduous tree is native to southwestern Madagascar and can reach a height of up to 4 feet. The tree has a unique cone-shaped trunk and branches that twist and turn, creating a visually captivating bonsai-like look. Its small green leaves add to its charm. During the late winter season, it gives rise to small flowers that are yellow-green in colour.
