This particular tree, known as Ficus sycomorus, can reach heights of up to 35 metres and is classified as semi-deciduous. The bark on young branches is adorned with long hairs, displaying a greenish yellow hue. As the branches and stems mature, the bark transitions to a pale brown to yellowish brown shade, eventually flaking off in delicate papery strips. The main trunk can occasionally reach a diameter of over 2 metres.
