A small to medium-sized dry deciduous tree native to Madagascar’s dry forests, with a broad, swollen trunk resembling a baobab, a rounded crown, and dense tufts of greenish yellow flowers. To break dormancy, scarify or submerge seeds in boiling water, then soak at room temperature for a day.
