This magnificent Baobab tree, with its impressive height of over 25 metres (80 feet), showcases a thick, smooth trunk that takes on a reddish-gray hue. It is a prime example of a dry deciduous tree. The beautiful, sizable white flowers bloom during the nighttime. This plant is commonly found in thorn forests and savannas in western Madagascar. It thrives in the dry tropics, particularly in USDA Zone 10 or higher. Before planting, it is advisable to soak the seeds in water for a day. This will help ensure proper hydration before sowing them in a well-draining substrate.
